1) This is an adult rpg so please be responsible adults.

2) This is an adult site which contains adult sexual themes and violence, some of which will be graphic, those will have warnings so that those writers who prefer not to read it won't. 

3) There will be NO player/writer under the age of 18 here. There are many sites for under 18 to play at. This is NOT one of them. I want us adults to enjoy the RPG without having to worry about monitoring minors in an adult RP environment.

4) Only the five dragon colors are accepted with of course their various hues and saturation: 
Gold - Impress to woman
Bronze - Impress to men
Brown, Blue, and green Impress to either gender

5) Sexual orientation is per the writers discretion; hence any character can be Heterosexual; Bisexual; or Homosexual.

     All flight riders are bisexual as it is the dragons who choose and not the riders.

6) NO flaming, god-modding, or posing.  NO playing someone elses character or killing someone elses chacracter without BoD approval.

7) Flits and whers abound all over Modern Pern as do runners, canines, and felines.  However, Firelizards and dragons do not exist in Hide Bound Pern other than in the HideBound Weyr that is /hidden/ from the rest of HideBound Pern.

a) Gold and Bronze flits and whers are only given out as rewards prizes by the BoD
b) No one character can have more than two pets. Work animals /are/ working animals and will be written into the charrie sheet as required by the charrie for the charrie to be able to function. They are not pets and should not be treated as pets unless you claim it as one of your two pet allowences.

8) High tech is only in the south and spread evenly between Weyr, Holds, and Crafthalls; the rarer the tech the more localize it is so that all may benefit.        

9) Speech will be thus at Venture Weyr:

  Human to Dragon [[]];   Dagon to human or others {{}};  Firelizard  ~~ one or two words with an image description   wher ** ** broken sentences and images. 

PLEASE NOTE:

Dragonriders' eyes  DO NOT glaze over or show any appearence to be mindspeaking with their dragons  -  They just do.

Dragons will speak to and acknowledge whomever they choose.

Gold dragonriders do NOT rule, however, they are highly respected and  held to high honor as the  riders' of the gold dragons  who are the breaders of the next gerneration of dragonriders.

This is ultimately my club and my responsibility , some rules are flexible , and some are set in stone.

As the owner of this club I reserve the right to make and play any character(s) that  I choose to make  to enable my club to run smoothly  irregardles of my rules as to ratios.   Yes I do stand inside, outside, and all around my game.

I further give this right to the BoD  since they  are also committed to making this RPG a great success.

Harsh rules to be sure, but I put a lot of work, time, effort and  love into my club to have it taken down. I want true lovers of Pern and dedicated adults to join me here and enjoy this wonderful and diverse world with me.

The full BoD has not been chosen yet, these people would have to prove themselves to me and the game, I want bipartisanship between the BoD and the players, however, the BoD has the final say.

              LURKERS ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OOC YAHOO!GROUP and MAY VIEW THE MAIN YAHOO!GROUP WITHOUT PARTICIPATION. If you want in you MUST BE AN ADULT and join as per the rules. This IS set in stone.

**Please note: Hide Bound Pern and EVERYONE on that side does not know of the existence of Modern Pern, however, Modern Pern and all it’s citizens know of the existence of Hide Bound Pern and are STRICTLY forbidden to show themselves to Hide Bound Pern as anything other than Hide Bound, AND dragons and firelizards are NEVER to be shown to exist to ANY Hide Bound Pernese without prior BoD approval.**

We need all kinds of Characters from rankers on down to drudges.

Please note EVERY character is important and has a story to tell.

For riders the ratio is 3/male to 1/female. This Pern is not in such dire need of riders that it needs to take its women away from other cultural pursuits, careers, or raising families.

For every three male riders there must be one female rider and vice versa. This goes for candidates also since they are potential riders.

For every rank position please make non-rankers, afterall, we can't have all rankers, also, the higher the rank the lower the non-ranker position.

This game mimics real life in that everyone is not out to get you, people tell the truth and are honest, deviants are few and far between. All deviants must inform everyone in ooc about any threads they are in and what they are looking for in a plot with an ooc and link back to the ooc on the thread in case anyone missed it.

This is a game and ICly actions will have ICly rewards/consequences. An IC character is /not/ the writer only the writer’s character and should never be interpreted as the writer.    

The Passage of Time is equal to a Pernese Turn. We do not accelerate time. Pregnancies are played out in normal time as is candidacy, clutches, Impresssion, and weyrlinghood.  Life is happening on Pern even though it is not all played out. 

Modern Pern

Sexual Situations:

At the Weyr sexual orientation is Very liberal and sensually promiscuous - all riders are flight Bisexual.

Sexual orientation in general is liberal in the modern Protective. Men and Women are equals, and they have equal opportunity as to rank, position, education, and property.

Firelizards are abundant and whers are both workers and pets.

Hide Bound Pern

Suppressed: Men rule and Women obey. Men and women hold ranks appropriately; men are educated to hold the commanding positions while ranking women are educated in hospitality and etiquette. It is very rare for a woman to be educated in any Craft. Non-rankers are educated according to the need they fill while non-ranking women will be drudges or tend to the home and childrearing. Men hold the title to the property whether through inheritance or handfasting.

Firelizards and Dragons are non-existent and whers are only working beast.

Dragons

Dragon colors: Gold, Bronze, Brown, Blue, and Green. NO Sport and No deviant colors. Shades and hues within the monochrome are permissible.

• Gold Impress to females
• Bronze Impress to males
• Brown, blue, and green, Impress to either gender

• All riders are flight bisexual since female riding browns can/will catch golds /and/ bronze dragons can/will catch male ridden greens.  However, the riders can have a stand in if they don't want to do the same sex thing, also they can do closed curtains. That is certainly allowed.  Players do not have to rp sex scenes.  An ooc will be placed as to open or closed curtains.

Ratio: 2 =100

For every Two Gold Dragons there must be a minimum ratio of active ICly riders to achieve before another Gold can be introduced to that Weyr.

2Gold = 10Bronze/20brown(4F)/30Blues(6F)/40Greens(15F).
